Qualifications and Requirements are as follows:

  • Head responsibility for accuracy of work performed and proactive approach to ensure work quality

Auto Body Paint Technician

Required Skills:

  • Ability to accurately, safely and efficiently perform the complete operation of painting parts and signs using a handheld paint sprayer.
  • Automotive, industrial, or sign industry experience. Attention to detail.
  • Accurately measure and mix various painting-related ingredients based on prescribed amounts.
  • Perform work as required to include: touch-up, sanding, cleaning, re-masking, and repainting.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine cleaning on all paint equipment and prep.
  • Use equipment properly and follow safety operating procedures.
  • Work in a confined space and wear painting related equipment including paint shield and respirator.
  • Compliance with OSHA regulations related to paint operations including, but not limited to, safety steel toe boots, hearing and eye protection, full face shield with hood and airline and respirator.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude, ability to recognize potential problems with product and equipment and take corrective action.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.

Yard Support/General Laborer. The job duties of a yard support / general laborer vary. They may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines such as blowtorches, forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment. Maintains equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures. Responsible for general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards, maintaining a safe and hazard free work place.

Cement Masons and Concrete Finishers. Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints.

Job Tasks:

  • Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them. Position construction forms or molds
  • Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed. Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation.
  • Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float. Spread concrete or other aggregate mixtures. Finish concrete surfaces.
  • Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process. Monitor construction operations.
  • Direct the casting of the concrete and supervise laborers who use shovels or special tools to spread it. Direct construction or extraction personnel.
  • Produce rough concrete surface, using broom. Finish concrete surfaces.
  • Mold expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge. Finish concrete surfaces.
  • Clean chipped area, using wire brush, and feel and observe surface to determine if it is rough or uneven. Clean surfaces in preparation for work activities.
  • Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete, and move chute to direct concrete on forms. Pour materials into or on designated areas. Signal equipment operators to indicate proper equipment positioning.
  • Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete, and waterproof or restore surface. Finish concrete surfaces. \Apply sealants or other protective coatings.
  • Operate power vibrator to compact concrete. Compact materials to create level bases.
  • Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete, using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools. Smooth surfaces with abrasive materials or tools.
  • Cut out damaged areas, drill holes for reinforcing rods, and position reinforcing rods to repair concrete, using power saw and drill. Drill holes in construction materials. Position structural components. Break up rock, asphalt, or concrete.
  • Waterproof or restore concrete surfaces, using appropriate compounds. Apply sealants or other protective coatings.
  • Cut metal division strips, and press them into terrazzo base so that top edges form desired design or pattern. Cut metal components for installation. Apply decorative masonry finishes.
  • Wet surface to prepare for bonding, fill holes and cracks with grout or slurry, and smooth, using trowel. Prepare surfaces for finishing. Install masonry materials. Apply material to fill gaps in surfaces.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete or pattern or stamp the surface to provide a decorative finish. Finish concrete surfaces. Install metal structural components. Install building fixtures.
  • Fabricate concrete beams, columns, and panels. Install masonry materials. Fabricate parts or components.
  • Push roller over surface to embed chips in surface. Apply decorative masonry finishes.
  • Build wooden molds, and clamp molds around area to be repaired, using hand tools. Position construction forms or molds. Build construction forms or molds.
  • Polish surface, using polishing or surfacing machine. Smooth surfaces with abrasive materials or tools.
  • Apply muriatic acid to clean surface, and rinse with water. Clean surfaces in preparation for work activities.
  • Sprinkle colored marble or stone chips, powdered steel, or coloring powder over surface to produce prescribed finish. Apply decorative masonry finishes.
  • Mix cement, sand, and water to produce concrete, grout, or slurry, using hoe, trowel, tamper, scraper, or concrete-mixing machine. Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities.
  • Spread roofing paper on surface of foundation, and spread concrete onto roofing paper with trowel to form terrazzo base. Spread concrete or other aggregate mixtures. Install roofing materials.

Superintendent. Grant Garrett Excavating, Inc., is looking for a qualified candidate to fulfill an Excavation Superintendent position. This role performs job site management and coordination of Heavy Equipment construction projects and includes coordinating all efforts to ensure customer satisfaction and overall success of a project. Superintendents will supervise job assigned operators and laborers. Superintendents will interact closely with Project Managers, Field Foremen and Field Crews and Subcontractors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • 5 years of experience as an Excavation Superintendent or other construction related experience

Trucking Field Superintendent. Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Hazardous Materials regulations and laws. Instruct drivers regarding company regulations, penalties for infraction of rules, and safety policies and procedures. Confer with department heads concerning, among other issues, accident rates and abuse of equipment, and recommend measures to improve safety records and minimize risk of loss or damage to equipment. Investigate accidents involving company trucks, question witnesses and drivers to determine causes of accidents. Report or review findings from accident investigations. Monitor and evaluate driver performance for the proper handling of cargo and operation of equipment through focused assessments, including ride-alongs. Patrol highway to detect violation of company regulations by drivers and to observe condition of vehicles and road. Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and trucking industry processes. Analyze accident reports obtained from governmental agencies to determine driver’s need for additional training; maintain accident records and reports. Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment. Educate and train employees on job hazards as well as procedures for minimizing risk of injury at work sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Handle driver’s daily calls, no shows, etc.
  • Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Ensure customer goods move from production through the supply chain to the end user.
  • Establish contract transportation services.
  • Develop partnerships with outside carriers in shipping.
  • Arrive early for pre-trip inspections to ensure trucks go out on time.
  • Observe drivers and “bird dog” to eliminate drivers stopping unapproved.
  • Ensure all paperwork for truck production loads and destinations are maintained properly.
  • Manage performance of branch employees with emphasis on productivity, efficiency, and service delivery.

Field Service Tech. Our company has a current opening for a motivated individual. This person must prioritize safety over everything. This person should have basic mechanical knowledge and have knowledge of lubing, greasing, and fueling heavy equipment. We will be looking to fill this position quick as possible. This person should have a CDL and hazmat endorsement. The average work week is 50-60 hours a week.


Construction Estimator. Daily duties include plan and specifications review, site investigations; perform earthwork quantity take-offs from highway and civil drawings using Agtek software as well as other means and methods. The right candidate will also be responsible for organizing all of these quantities and site specific conditions that will affect pricing into bid items in B2W cost estimating software of which will be used to present an estimate proposal to the clients. All duties will be performed mostly at the corporate offices in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Desired Skills and Experience:

These people MUST have experience on front end loader, dozer, trackhoe, and excavating production experience. People with motor grader and GPS experience is a big plus.
