Accounts Payable Specialist

The essential duties for the Accounts Payable Coordinator position will be as follows: 

Provides administrative support to the Accounts Payable Department and Controller. An Accounts Payable Specialist handles the financial processing of transactions for an organization. Duties include daily bookkeeping, record keeping, financial reporting, The Accounts Payable Specialist will reconcile and verify invoices. 

Reports To: Chief Cooperating Officer

Direct Supervisor: Controller 

Hours: 8:00 am-5:00 pm (Any adjustments in time must be approve by supervisor and HR)

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and monitors the listing of accounts payable and receivable
  • Develops and maintains a filing system for financial information, files, and records
  • Ensures the ready availability of financial documentation
  • Collects and verify invoices, bills, and checks by performing pre-audits
  • Monitor all vendor payment agreements to find discounts that can be used to reduce invoice amounts
  • Responsible for making sure all accounts have sales tax paid
  • Keep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor payments
  • Answer phones and greet customers, answering questions they may have

Administrative Duties/Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

  • Will process all J.A. Riggs invoices-Attach PO’s-Packing Slips -Enter QB
  • All credit card invoices to be entered in QB-Attach receipts to statements at end of month
  • Process all payable invoices that have been entered every Monday and place in proper basket to be signed off on
  • Effective time management skills, including ability to prioritize workload to meet key deadlines

Qualification requirements:

Required Skills:

Cement Masons and Concrete Finishers

Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints.

Job Tasks:

  • Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them. Position construction forms or molds
  • Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed. Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation.

Field Service Tech

Our company has a current opening for a motivated individual. This person must prioritize safety over everything. This person should have basic mechanical knowledge and have knowledge of lubing, greasing, and fueling heavy equipment. We will be looking to fill this position quick as possible. Fuel and Lube Technician

Qualifications and Requirements are as follows:

  • Valid CDL driver’s License
  • Must possess a CDL Class A w/ Hazmat and Tankers Endorsements
  • Must pass a Federal Drug Screen
  • Clean Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Violation Report
  • Clean MVR (driving) Record
  • Current Medical Card (Present a Short/Long Form)

Operator

Looking for people who will hold safety to highest standard in the workplace. As a company we are regulated by MSHA/OSHA standards. These people MUST have experience on front end loader, dozer, trackhoe, and excavating production experience. People with motor grader and GPS experience is a big plus. Payroll Specialist

The essential duties for the Payroll Specialist position will be as follows:

A payroll specialist manages employee salaries, finances, and tax information for a company. The payroll specialists also have human resource-based responsibilities where they work with other employees to set work schedules and plan scheduled vacations and time off.

Compiles payroll data, and enters data or computes and posts wages, and reconciles errors, to maintain payroll records, using computer or calculator: Compiles payroll data, such as hours worked, sales or piecework, taxes, insurance, and union dues to be withheld, and employee identification number, from time sheets and other records. The payroll specialist position is accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into a periodic payroll, and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.

  • Assist with month-end closing and calculation of salaries, benefits and insurance

  • Enter/exit employees in QuickBooks, Time Clock Plus & B2W for employment or termination
  • Assure payroll dept is operating in a smooth transition daily and report any/all deficiencies to HR Manager (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll
  • Assist HR Manager with absents/vacation documents and notification to log in system
  • Assist HR Manager with onboarding new hires, orientation and job/recruitment fairs
  • 15-20% other as required

Qualification requirements:

  • High School Diploma; Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school at minimum and payroll certification a plus
  • Preferably bachelor’s degree in related field or experience
  • Minimum three years’ experience in payroll preferred
  • Construction knowledge highly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, ADP, Kronos and QuickBooks a plus with the ability to operate computerized and spreadsheet programs
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Effective customer service skills and proficiency in QuickBooks, ADP, Kronos or adequate payroll system
  • Detail-oriented, accurate and possess sound judgment

Grant Garrett Excavating, Inc., is looking for a qualified candidate to fulfill an Excavation Superintendent position. This role performs job site management and coordination of Heavy Equipment construction projects and includes coordinating all efforts to ensure customer satisfaction and overall success of a project. Superintendents will supervise job assigned operators and laborers. Superintendents will interact closely with Project Managers, Field Foremen and Field Crews and Subcontractors.

Minimum Qualifications:

Yard Support/General Laborer

The job duties of a yard support / general laborer vary. They may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines such as blowtorches, forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.
