Cement Masons and Concrete Finishers

Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints.

Job Tasks:

  • Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them. Position construction forms or molds
  • Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed. Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation.

Looking for people who will hold safety to highest standard in the workplace. As a company we are regulated by MSHA/OSHA standards. Senior Project Manager

The Project Manager takes in all aspects of the commercial civil projects. This will include scope of work development, pre-construction bidding, selection of vendors, construction, vendor supervision, close out and post follow-up.  The Project Manager will ensure the scope is meticulously executed and high quality is consistently maintained.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide Leadership and drive the project vision, established in collaboration with the client, to upper management, project team, subcontractors, and all other stakeholders.

Education & Experience:

  • S. Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience working for a similarly positioned contractor as a Project Manager for projects ranging from $5 million to $20 million.
  • Previous experience working as a Foreman or Superintendent on similar projects is a plus.
  • Estimating experience is a strong plus.

Decco X Northwest Arkansas

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking asphalt laborer to assist in the pouring, smoothing, and setting of asphalt for roads and parking lots. The responsibilities of an Asphalt Laborer include delivering water to the rollers and plate compactors, preparing the pavement saw, measuring the line for the day, sweeping, and raking the deck, working in between the mill, directing traffic, and cleaning the area at the end of the day.

To ensure success as an Asphalt Laborer, you should be physically fit and be able to work long hours in all weather conditions. Asphalt Laborers are often required to work on weekends, public holidays, and at night.

Asphalt Laborer Responsibilities:

  • Offloading trucks and gathering tools for the day.
  • Transporting rakes, lutes, shovels, and spray cans to the paver.
  • Moving the pavement saw to the transverse joint.

Advanced Heavy Equipment Operator

Looking for people who will hold safety to highest standard in the workplace. As a company we are regulated by MSHA/OSHA standards. These people MUST have experience on front end loader, dozer, trackhoe, and excavating production experience. People with motor grader and GPS experience is a big plus. We are a fast pace work industry, and these people must be able to keep up with production. Anyone that has smaller equipment experience such as smooth drum rollers, skid steers, and mini excavators should apply as well.

Working Condition/Physical Requirements

  • Work environment is consistent of an office and facility with construction equipment inventory and repair/service shop and may also include construction job site
  • Safety training required; PPE required outside of office/parking lot area
  • PPE must comply with site specific requirements
  • Occasional lifting may be required up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and stooping

We are looking for Utility Laborers with pipelayer experience to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for laying piping systems to carry a variety of different utilities. You will also help install pipes for Water systems and storm drainage. Our ideal candidate has experience working on a utility crew before, but we will accept applicants with more generalized construction experience. You will use a variety of power and hand tools in this career, so you should have mechanical skills and manual dexterity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Good Communication skills
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
  • Maintain assigned equipment, tools, and PPE.
  • Gather the necessary tools and materials
  • Examine ground conditions before beginning work.
  • Manually Dig trenches and holes in appropriate locations as needed.
  • Lay pipe and make connections to the appropriate systems.
  • Align fittings and cut pipe as necessary.
  • Bury pipes and clean up the job site
  • Report needed repairs or deficiencies.
  • Monitor and inspect equipment and system performance.
  • Use a pipe laser.
  • Be a team Player
  • Maintain a safe and clean jobsite by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the jobsite daily.
  • Use proper Trench Safety and Confined Space practices as prescribed by OSHA
  • Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)
  • Pipelayer experience
  • Experience detecting utilities
  • Experience as a swamper
  • Competent person training
