  • Will be required to climb on a ladder to reach some grease fittings and also climb on the truck to fuel the truck transporting the fuel to the various jobs.
  • Experience in tri- and quad-axle dump trucks, as well as dump trailers is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Prepare for project startup with the General Superintendent Project Manager. Execute project activities as required to meet day-to-day and overall objectives.
  • Understand and apply the requirements in project documents regarding quality control procedures such as testing, shop drawings, material approvals, samples, mock-ups, execution of the work, etc.
  • Become familiar with each job estimate for general condition items and follow the direction of the General Superintendent regarding performing work within the boundaries of the estimate.
  • Keep the General Superintendent apprised of any change in activity or cost prior to incurring additional time or materials outside of the project scope.’
  • Provide input on scheduling and placement of production crews. Plan and review the construction project with the General Superintendent and Project Manager on a weekly basis. Supervise the scheduling and completion of warranty issues.
  • Assist the General Superintendent and Project Manager in the preparation of progress schedules, keep them properly updated, and ensure that everything feasible is done for the project to meet the required dates.
  • Support the General Superintendent to ensure timely on-site delivery of materials and equipment furnished by the Company and subcontractors.
  • Direct and train the field staff to ensure their continued development by use of performance evaluations, varying assignments, and promoting positive project morale.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.

Complete and turn in QC documentation
  • Oversee the scheduling, delivery & use of equipment and materials, the quality of construction, worker productivity & compliance with building/safety codes. Maintain safe, clean and compliant job sites
  • Provide consistent reporting on critical paths of each job as well as schedule status ensuring all required inspections are successfully completed
  • Interface with owner, owner’s representative, general contractors, project inspectors, contractors, engineers, county officials and clients
  • Enforce policies of behavior, performance, and safety on sites
  • Supervise onsite personnel, subcontractors, materials and equipment deliveries
  • Schedule and manage subcontractors and sub-contractor relationships in order to maintain the construction schedule

Responsibilities
  • Must be able to operate at a High Production speed on the following machines: Bulldozer (up to D6), Excavator (up to CAT 336), Skid Steer, Mini-Ex, Haul Truck, Front End Loader, and Rollers. Any Finishing experience is welcome.
  • Create level surfaces, grade slopes to specifications, remove material and thoroughly fill voids using plans or our survey team for guidance.
  • Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventive maintenance tasks and/or making minor repairs as required.
  • Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure that it is in proper operating condition.
  • Work with the Superintendent or Foreman to help ensure that work is flowing smoothly throughout the day.
  • Help the Superintendents and Foreman identify areas needing improvement in our production processes.

Responsibilities
  • Transport heavy equipment, machinery, and materials to and from job sites using lowboy flatbed trailers.
  • Safely load, secure, and unload equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Plan routes and navigate safely, considering factors such as overhead clearances, weight restrictions, and road conditions.
  • Secure loads using chains, binders, straps, and other appropriate equipment, ensuring that all cargo is properly balanced and secured.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, field superintendents, project managers, and other team members to coordinate transportation activities and ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
  • Follow all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating commercial vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections, as required by company policy and regulatory agencies.

  • Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float. Spread concrete or other aggregate mixtures. Finish concrete surfaces.
  • Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process. Monitor construction operations.
  • Direct the casting of the concrete and supervise laborers who use shovels or special tools to spread it. Direct construction or extraction personnel.
  • Produce rough concrete surface, using broom. Finish concrete surfaces.

  • Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete, and waterproof or restore surface. Finish concrete surfaces. Apply sealants or other protective coatings.
  • Operate power vibrator to compact concrete. Compact materials to create level bases.
  • Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete, using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools. Smooth surfaces with abrasive materials or tools.
  • Cut out damaged areas, drill holes for reinforcing rods, and position reinforcing rods to repair concrete, using power saw and drill. Drill holes in construction materials. Position structural components. Break up rock, asphalt, or concrete.
  • Waterproof or restore concrete surfaces, using appropriate compounds. Apply sealants or other protective coatings.
  • Cut metal division strips, and press them into terrazzo base so that top edges form desired design or pattern. Cut metal components for installation. Apply decorative masonry finishes.
  • Wet surface to prepare for bonding, fill holes and cracks with grout or slurry, and smooth, using trowel. Prepare surfaces for finishing. Install masonry materials. Apply material to fill gaps in surfaces.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete or pattern or stamp the surface to provide a decorative finish. Finish concrete surfaces. Install metal structural components. Install building fixtures.
  • Fabricate concrete beams, columns, and panels. Install masonry materials. Fabricate parts or components.
  • Push roller over surface to embed chips in surface. Apply decorative masonry finishes.
  • Build wooden molds, and clamp molds around area to be repaired, using hand tools. Position construction forms or molds. Build construction forms or molds.
  • Polish surface, using polishing or surfacing machine. Smooth surfaces with abrasive materials or tools.
  • Apply muriatic acid to clean surface, and rinse with water. Clean surfaces in preparation for work activities.
  • Sprinkle colored marble or stone chips, powdered steel, or coloring powder over surface to produce prescribed finish. Apply decorative masonry finishes.
  • Mix cement, sand, and water to produce concrete, grout, or slurry, using hoe, trowel, tamper, scraper, or concrete-mixing machine. Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities.
  • Spread roofing paper on surface of foundation, and spread concrete onto roofing paper with trowel to form terrazzo base. Spread concrete or other aggregate mixtures. Install roofing materials.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases and aspects of the project.
  • Provide support to Field Staff.  Follow the Companies Best Practices
  • Prepare and assist with pre-installation meetings.
  • Review Owner contract and become familiar with terms & conditions.
  • Distribute all short interval and overall project schedules.
  • Ensure subcontractors have the most up to date scopes of work.
  • Assist PM in the development of the overall project schedule.
  • Maintain client relationships at the appropriate level reinforcing the Company’s commitment to continuously addressing their needs and interests.
  •  Work collaboratively with outside parties (I.e. the design team, etc.) to accomplish client goals.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma is the minimum educational requirement for Assistant Project Manager, an equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering, civil, construction, electrical engineering or mechanical is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Deciphering and analyzing bid specifications, schematics, and drawings to prepare detailed and accurate estimates/packages for projects
  • Track progress of multiple bids and bid results
  • Calculates cost by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
  • Coordinate with other team members for takeoff and estimating needs
  • Oversee and manage change orders during project progression
  • Oversee and manage project closeouts at completion
  • Deliver accurate and timely estimates/bid proposals to clients
  • Maintains positive relations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the team and works as part of the team
  • Travel to job sites to inspect existing conditions

Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in the construction/estimating field.
  • Proficient knowledge of earthwork, utilities, concrete, and asphalt.
  • Experience with estimating and design software (Bid to Win, AG-TEK, AutoCAD)
  • General knowledge of various types of construction equipment
  • Previous experience with bidding
  • Must possess strong verbal, interpersonal, problem-solving skills and think in a 3-dimension mindset
  • Demonstrate and knowledge of Geotechnical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities encompass the general aspects of CAD/ BIM drafting that determine the most appropriate drawings and diagrams that accurately communicate the intended design clearly, effectively, and timely.
  • Responsibilities include scheduling the use of the Trimble with field personnel to allow for the most cost-effective use of company resources.
  • Familiar with Topcon GPS and Robotic Station equipment.
  • Dependable and physically able to work outdoors and on construction sites in all weather conditions.
  • Must possess a strong mathematical background and perform calculations associated with surveying.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to read construction plans and specs.
  • AutoCAD/Revit experience a plus.
  • Skills in field data collection.
  • Experience with survey data collection, GPS receivers, and robotic total stations a requirement.
  • Self-motivated, have strong initiative and desire to learn and advance in the survey profession.
  • Provide work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff.
  • Perform layout work competently and accurately as specified by Project manager.
  • Provide checking of as-built conditions that require use of surveying techniques.

  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, and in excavated areas.
