The Gilbert Garrett College Scholarship was created to honor a man who deeply valued hard work, perseverance, and the power of opportunity. Although Gilbert always dreamed of attending college, he never had the chance to pursue that goal himself, a reality that stayed with him and makes this scholarship a meaningful way to fulfill that dream for others.
In his memory, this scholarship exists to open doors for the next generation — helping ease the financial burden of higher education so young adults can chase their dreams with confidence. By investing in their future, we carry forward Gilbert’s legacy, turning the opportunity he once hoped for into a reality for others.
The IMG Scholarship was created to support the families of GarrettX employees as they pursue higher education and skilled trades. Eligibility includes any child, grandchild, step-child, or step-grandchild of a GarrettX employee who plans to attend a college, university, or trade school.
